Gluten-Free Cinnamon Orange Walnut Cookies

We had some comments asking if Holly’s Cinnamon Sugar Cookies recipe could be made into gluten-free cookies. Everybody here at Hodgson Mill immediately volunteered suggestions about the best way to do it, and I think we settled on a pretty simple, tasty solution. Read More »

Caramelized Onion and Rosemary Cornbread Muffins

Are you ready for Thanksgiving? (Good . . . me neither!) There’s always so much to bake . . . and so little oven space to bake it all! Nevertheless, I always get big-time inspired reading about all the crazy dish ideas from chefs and in cooking magazines (additions, of course, to the already overcrowded table of food people expect to see on this holiday.) S’mores. Read More »

Buttermilk Pumpkin Pancakes with Maple-Ginger Whipped Cream

Hello world, I’m delighted to be here. My name is Erin; I love food (making, and eating). I like making things. And I like sharing both. My parents, Bob and Cathy, own Hodgson Mill, and when the chance came up to work with them, to photograph and write about the products I’ve been using pretty much since I learned to bake, I jumped. I already bake all kinds of Hodgson Mill for myself and my friends. Why not for new friends, too? I always try to eat healthy. It makes me feel better. But I also adore food, and I love trying new tastes, old tastes, anything sweet. . . . Read More »
