50/50 Boston Brown Bread



Preheat oven to 325°F.

Measure 50/50 Flour into large mixing bowl. Add remaining dry ingredients. Stir well to blend. Combine liquid ingredients in a bowl. Beat well and add to blended dry ingredients. Stir until all ingredients are moistened. Stir in raisins. Spread batter into two greased 8-1/2x4-1/2x2-1/2-inch loaf pans.

Bake for 55-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool in pans 5-10 minutes. Remove; cool on rack. Yield: 2 loaves.
