Fruit Syrup


  • 1 cup orange juice, apricot or nectar juice works also
  • 1/3 cup dried apricots, coarsely snipped
  • 2-3 Tbsp honey
  • 3 tsp Hodgson Mill Corn Starch
  • 1 cup strawberries, fresh, sliced


In a small saucepan stir together the nectar or orange juice, apricots, honey and cornstarch. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly, cook and stir 2 minutes more. Gently stir in strawberries; heat through. Serve immediately with warm waffles.

Each serving: 71 calories; 1 g. dietary fiber; 18 g. carbohydrates; 1 g. protein; less than 1 g. fat; 0 mg. cholesterol; 1 mg. sodium.
