Basic Better Brown Gravy

Serve over a Beef Manhattan or simply mashed potatoes. This gravy will be a hit at any meal.



Blend drippings and cornstarch in medium saucepan over low heat until it is golden brown color, stirring constantly. Gradually add water, salt, and pepper.

Heat to boiling over low heat; boil gently 2 minutes, stirring constantly

Option: For cream gravy, use milk or cream in place of water.
