Basic Gluten Free Flour Blend

This Gluten Free Flour Blend is a great universal flour replacement and has been used successfully in cookies, pancakes, pie crust, muffins, pound cake, biscuits, and even yeast bread!





Mix all ingredients together well and store in an airtight container, preferably in the refrigerator.  

Use cup for cup as a replacement for wheat flour in your favorite recipes. 

To use in yeast breads, we recommend adding an additional 1/4 tsp. Xanthan Gum to this blend.

White or brown rice flour may be used interchangeably in this recipe, or you may use a combination.  For a heartier texture and slightly more fiber, use Hodgson Mill Brown Rice Flour.  When a lighter color and texture that more closely resembles baked goods made with all-purpose flour, use Hodgson Mill White Rice Flour.
