Caramel Apple Crisp with Almond Flour and Oats

Smooth, creamy caramel, fresh apples, and crunchy almond crisp. Talk about fall comfort food!



Preheat oven to 350ºF and prepare a 9x9-inch baking pan with nonstick spray. 

In a large bowl, mix together apples, brown sugar, caramel topping, cinnamon, and flour.  Spoon prepared pan. In a medium bowl, combine Thick Cut Rolled Oats, Almond Flour/Meal, baking soda, cinnamon and brown sugar. Pour in coconut oil and mix until well combined. Spread oat mixture evenly over the apples and bake in a 350°F oven for 50 minutes to an hour or until the mixture is bubbly and deep golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 30 minutes (caramel sauce will thicken) Serve with vanilla ice cream if desired. 

Leftovers will keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days.
