Almond Flour Chocolate Chip Cookies

Tasty gluten free treat for the entire family. The almond flour/meal gives these cookies a wonderful light texture.


  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 -1/2 cups Hodgson Mill Almond Flour/Meal
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips


Preheat oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

Beat together butter, sugars and vanilla in a large bowl, beat in eggs.

Stir in almond flour/meal, baking soda and salt, mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. 

Drop dough by Tbsp. onto baking sheets two-inches apart.


Bake 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned on top and firm to the touch


NOTE:  Another type of flour can be substituted for part of the almond flour. 

Walnuts, almonds, butterscotch chips, caramel bits or coconut can be used in place of or in combination with chocolate chips.                              

When cooled, store in a container with a loose fitting lid.
