Broccoli & Bacon Ancient Grain Medley

A delicious complement to any meal. Buttery, creamy, and crunch all in one dish.



Use water or broth to prepare ancient grain side according to directions. While medley is cooking, cook bacon until crisp, transfer to plate lined with paper towels. Cool and break into 1/2" pieces. Divide bacon into 4 oz. and 2 oz. portions . Steam broccoli florets until crisp tender; add sour cream to ancient grain side. Fold in steamed broccoli florets and 4 oz. of the bacon. Top with remaining bacon, shredded cheese and pepper to taste, serve.

For an entrée, add diced, cooked chicken, about 1 cup.
