Meat Loaf

This hearty meatloaf will leave you with a smile. Add a couple of quick and easy sides for a completely balanced meal.

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 lbs. ground beef, (or 1lb. beef and 1/4lb. each pork and veal
  • 1-1/2 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup Hodgson Mill Unprocessed Wheat Bran
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced, or 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. sage
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • 1/3 cup ketchup

Directions

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Mix all ingredients except mustard and ketchup. Place in a 9x5x3- inch loaf pan. Shape into loaf.

Mix mustard and ketchup; Spread evenly on top of loaf. Bake1-1/4 to 1-1/2hours.
