Preheat oven to 425°F.
In a large bowl stir together Insta-bake and sugar. Add butter, milk, and egg; stir to form a soft dough.
Turn onto a floured surface. Knead 10 strokes and roll 3/4 inch thick. Cut with floured biscuit cutter.
Place on ungreased or parchment paper lined cookie sheet about 1-inch apart. Sprinkle with more sugar, if desired. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
