- 1/4 cup Hodgson Mill Flax Chia Blend
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 3 cups fresh or frozen blueberries, or any fruit of choice
- 1/3 cup honey, or to taste
- 1-2 Tbsp. lemon juice, if desired
Stir together Flax-Chia and warm water and let rest until mixture thickens to a jelly-like texture, about 5 minutes.
Heat fruit (you may use raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, plums, peaches, or a combo) and honey in a saucepan over medium heat until fruit is soft, about 15 minutes. Lightly crush fruit pieces down with a fork or masher until texture is spreadable.
Stir Flax Chia mixture into berry mixture. Remove from heat and let cool for at least 10 minutes. Enjoy!
Keep refrigerated, lasts about 2-3 weeks.
