Strawberry Cream Cookies

Sweet little cookies that will brighten any day! 2017 Illinois State Fair third place winning recipe!



Cream butter, sugar, and cream cheese. Add vanilla and egg yolk; mix. Add flour and blend. Chill dough. 

Shape into 1 inch balls. Using floured thimble, press hole in center of each cookie. Fill each with 1/4 tsp. strawberry jam. 

In a 350 degree pre-heated oven, bake for 10-12 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet. 

Yields: 5 dozen cookies
