Savory Lite Alfredo

This lite & savory Alfredo is a definite crowd pleaser. Add a vegetable or salad and you have the perfect meal.



Prepare pasta according to package directions, drain. 

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic, scallions and flour; stir constantly until thickened to a paste. Add milk and egg, stirring until thickened again. Add cheese and stir until melted. Toss sauce with pasta, season to taste, garnish with parsley and sage, and serve warm.

* May also use 2 egg whites or 1 egg, beaten
