Whole Grain Jam Bars

A delicious buttery, whole grain crust with sweet, jammy filling - yum!



Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add combined flour, salt and soda; mix well. Stir in oats and wheat bran. Press half of crumb mixture onto bottom of greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Spread preserves over crumb mixture. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture. Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Cool; cut into bars.


Makes 10 servings. Each serving: 365 calories; 4 g. dietary fiber; 75 g. carbohydrates; 5 g. protein; 8 g. fat; 5 g. saturated fat; 24 mg. cholesterol; 405 mg. sodium. Print this Recipe
