Whole Wheat Pie Crust



Preheat oven to 450 deg.  Combine the pastry flour and baking powder with firm butter until crumbly.  Blend in water beating about 15 strokes.  If dough seems a little dry, add 1 tbsp. additional water.  Turn onto floured surface and knead 5 times.  Roll dough out thin about 2 inches larger than a 9 in. pie pan.  Place dough in pie pan and flute edges if desired.  Prick dough numerous times on bottom and along the side with a fork.  Bake until light brown, about 8-10 minutes; cool.
