Blueberry Swirl Multi-Grain Hot Cereal with Flax & Quinoa

A simple blueberry topping for one of our favorite multi-grain cereal - a real heart-healthy whole grain breakfast, ready in minutes.!



Combine cereal, milk/water mix and blueberries in a deep, microwave-safe bowl.  Microwave on high power for about three minutes and 30 seconds.  Stir.  If mixture is still thin, microwave for an additional 45 seconds.  The cooked cereal should initially be somewhat thick and will continue to thicken up to near-oatmeal consistency as it cools slightly.  Pour into a smaller bowl if you’d like, sprinkle with brown sugar to taste and drizzle with milk.  Serve warm..
