Hodgson Mill Multi Grain Hot Cereal with Milled Flaxseed & Quinoa is even better when I turn it into Blueberry Swirl Multi Grain Hot Cereal with Milled Flaxseed & Quinoa. I think it takes longer to say the name than it takes to actually make. It’s so easy. It’s not even really a recipe-more like a nudge in the blueberry direction. But that’s what’s so perfect about this breakfast: easy, healthy, fast and delicious.



Combine dry cereal, milk/water mix and blueberries in a deep, microwave-safe bowl.  Microwave on high power for about three minutes and 30 seconds.  Stir.  If mixture is still thin, microwave for an additional 45 seconds.  The cooked cereal should initially be somewhat thick and will continue to thicken up to near-oatmeal consistency as it cools slightly.  Pour into a smaller bowl if you’d like, sprinkle with brown sugar to taste and drizzle with milk.  Eat immediately.
