President Bob Goldstein explains, “It’s great that people are rediscovering ancient grains.  We’ve always offered quality traditional whole grains like whole wheat, oats, buckwheat, and rye– these new products are all great additions that complement our line. We’re just going to keep growing.“  These 2015 additions build on Hodgson Mill’s 2014 release of many successful new products, including Flax Chia Blend, Quinoa & Brown Rice Sides, and Ultragrain® with Quinoa Pasta.

All these items are currently enrolled in the Non-GMO Project Verification process, and 11 are already verified. All Certified Gluten Free items are verified by the Celiac Support Association. “We take certification standards and product quality very seriously,” says Hope Yingst, Quality Assurance Manager. “We want to wow customers with our consistent quality.”

Hodgson Mill is also innovating with its packaging. The baking items and whole grains come in resealable pouches, and the side dishes and hot cereal are individually packaged in stand-up pouches. “We’re talking every day with retailers and brokers about the trends they see and what works best for them, ” adds Brian Prechtl, VP of Sales and Marketing. “Our products are designed to be good for stores as well as consumers.”

The new products debut publicly at Expo West (March 2015, Booth #2850).  Hodgson Mill anticipates consumers will see them in stores Summer/early Fall 2015. Please contact Hodgson Mill to inquire about availability.
