Each item cooks in 15-20 minutes on the stovetop – just add water, heat, and serve. They’re a delicious and convenient way for consumers to add healthy whole grains to their family’s diet!

All these items are currently verified or enrolled in the Non-GMO Project Verification process, carry the Whole Grain stamp, and are certified Kosher OU or OU-D. Sorghum, Quinoa & Brown Rice and Quinoa & Brown Rice sides are also Certified Gluten Free by the Celiac Support Association. 

Anna Scroggins, RD, Food Development Technologist at Hodgson Mill, played a key role in developing the brand new Ancient Grain Medley sides. “We chose each grain for its great nutritional profile, taste and texture. Once we had the right blend, my goal was to match seasonings that naturally complemented their flavor. I hope these familiar, delicious flavors tempts people to try ancient grains like KAMUT wheat, Sorghum, or Teff for the first time.”

KAMUT® Khorasan wheat is a protein-packed ancient form of wheat with a rich buttery flavor; some people find it more digestible than modern wheat. Sorghum is a bright new star on the ancient grain stage – naturally gluten free, drought-resistant and grown widely in the US, and deliciously mild and tender. Teff is the world’s tiniest grain, and it is packed with vitamins and minerals!
