Cheesey Cookies for Dogs

2 c HODGSON MILL UNBLEACHED WHITE FLOUR
1 1/4 c shredded cheddar cheese
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 c vegetable oil
4 1/2 Tbsp. water

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Combine flour, cheese, garlic and vegetable oil in a food processor. Cover, whirl until mixture is consistency of coarse meal. With machine running, slowly add water until mixture forms a ball.

Divide dough into 12 equal pieces. Roll out each piece to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut out bones. Transfer to ungreased cookie sheet. Do not reroll scraps.

Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 15 mintues or until bottom of cookies are lightly browned. Allow cookies to cool on a wire rack completely. Refrigerate in an airtight container.

Makes 1 batch. Each batch: 2219 calories; 8 g dietary fiber; 186 g carbohydrates; 51 g protein; 150 g fat (34 g saturated fat); 113 mg cholesterol; 714 mg sodium.
