Finger Paints
1/2 c HODGSON MILL PURE CORN STARCH
1 c cold water
1 pkg. unflavored gelatin
2 c boiling water
food coloring or poster paint
Soak unflavored gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water. Mix remaining 3/4 cup cold water with corn starch until it becomes a smooth paste. Pour boiling water slowly over the corn starch mixture, stirring constantly. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils and clears. Remove from heat and stir in gelatin. Cool and divide into separate jars with lids. Add food coloring or poster paint for colors. Refrigerate. Paint will be transparent with a high gloss finish.
