Fruit Syrup
1 c apricot nectar or orange juice
1/3 c coarsely snipped dried apricots
2 to 3 Tbsp. honey
3 tsp HODGSON MILL PURE CORN STARCH
1 c sliced fresh strawberries
In a small saucepan stir together the nectar or orange juice, apricots, honey and cornstarch. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly, cook and stir 2 minutes more. Gently stir in strawberries; heat through. Serve immediately with warm waffles.
Makes 6 servings. Each serving: 71 calories; 1 g. dietary fiber; 18 g. carbohydrates; 1 g. protein; less than 1 g. fat; 0 mg. cholesterol; 1 mg. sodium.
