Karen's Doggy Cookies
2 c HODGSON MILL WHOLE WHEAT GRAHAM FLOUR
2/3 c HODGSON MILL YELLOW CORN MEAL, PLAIN
1/2 c sunflower seeds, shelled
2 Tbsp. corn oil
1/2 c chicken broth
2 eggs
1/4 c low-fat milk
1 egg - well beaten
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, mix together flour, corn meal and sunflower seeds. Add oil, broth and egg mixture. The dough should be firm. Let sit 15-20 minutes. On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough 1/4 inch thick. Cut into shapes and brush with beaten egg. Bake 25-35 minutes until golden brown. Store in airtight container.
Makes 1 batch. Each batch: 1993 calories; 40 g dietary fiber; 252 g carbohydrates; 69 g protein; 92 g fat (13 g saturated fat); 642 mg cholesterol; 881 mg sodium.
