Watercolor Paints

1 Tbsp. white vinegar
2 Tbsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. HODGSON MILL PURE CORN STARCH
1/4 tsp Glycerin
Plastic bottle caps or paint pans
Red, yellow and blue food coloring

Mix vinegar and baking soda together in a small bowl. When mixture stops foaming, add corn starch and glycerin. Mix well. Pour mixture into plastic bottle caps or paint pans. Add several drops of food coloring to each pan. Stir until the color is well mixed. The tint will look lighter when dry, so be sure to add plenty of coloring.

To make green: add equal amounts of blue and yellow.

To make purple: add equal amounts of blue and red.

To make brown: add 1 drop blue, 1 drop red and 2 drops yellow.

Paint will be liquid at this stage. Let dry overnight to harden.
