Spiced Bran Cookies

1 c HODGSON MILL UNBLEACHED WHITE FLOUR
1/4 c sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 c HODGSON MILL UNPROCESSED WHEAT BRAN
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 c molasses
1/2 c milk
1/2 c butter, melted

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease baking sheet. Sift flour, sugar, baking soda and spices together. Add wheat bran and mix well. Combine eggs, molasses, milk and butter; add to wheat bran mixture. Beat well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto baking sheet 2-inches apart. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Remove cookies from baking sheet and cool on wire rack.

Makes 36 cookies. Each cookie: 58 calories; 2 g dietary fiber, 8 g carbohydrates; 1 g protein; 3 g fat; 12 mg cholesterol; 48 mg sodium.
