  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • In a medium size bowl, blend together the wheat bran, flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. Cream together the sugar, butter, vanilla, and egg until smooth then blend in milk.
  • Now add dry ingredients and chocolate chips to the creamed mixture and stir until just moistened. Spoon the batter into lightly greased muffin cups about 3/4 full. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 - 22 minutes or until done. Remove muffins from the pan and let cool on a rack or serve warm.
