Our hot and hearty Cracked Wheat Cereal will give you a reason to look forward to the morning. We use the entire wheat berry, cracking it into morsels containing all the wheat germ and bran of our premium whole wheat grain, with nothing added and nothing taken away.

It also works wonderfully in bread recipes calling for cracked wheat, adding the wonderful crunch and flavor of wheat berries!

How it’s Made
Made by cracking the entire wheat kernel into small pieces.


Storage Recommendation
Dry product may be stored at room temperature, in refrigerator, or in freezer at least until the code date on the package. 
Prepared product should be consumed within 1 week of preparation.
Let product cool completely before storing.

Usage Suggestions
Cook into a satisfying hot cereal

Tips & FAQ’s

Microwave Cooking Tip:  Use a large bowl as cereal expands as it cooks. Microwave on high for 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. Repeat until desired texture is achieved. (May need to reduce to 50% power to prevent overflow)


Can I use milk instead of water?
Yes, it will make a richer, creamier cereal. 


Can I add ingredients to my cereal?
Try adding up to 1/2 cup of fruits, nuts, or seeds per serving Dried fruits may need to be soaked first. 
Try cooking with milk for a creamier cereal.
Add spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, or pumpkin pie spice.
Mix in 1Tbsp. cream cheese or swirl with yogurt for a creamy treat.
Mix in 1 Tbsp. peanut butter, almond butter, or sunflower butter for a delicious nutty cereal.


Do I need to refrigerate this product?
No, this product is shelf-stable. Keep in a cool, dry place. You may wish to keep it in the refrigerator to extend shelf life, but it is not required. Cooked cereal and some baked goods need to be covered, refrigerated and consumed within 1 week.


How is cracked wheat different than other wheat?
Cracked wheat is whole wheat, which has been cracked into small pieces. It takes more time to cook than other wheat cereals, but less than whole wheat berries.

What kind of wheat is it made from?

What else can I do with this?
It can be added to breads, muffins, meatloaf, etc. It is best to soak it first.
