Is it considered whole grain? 
Yes, it is made with Whole Grain Brown Rice.

 

How can I be sure it is Gluten Free?
We are currently certified gluten free under the National Celiac Association and we are in the process of changing to the Gluten Free Certification Organization. Both certifications help us guarantee that our products are far under the legal FDA limit of 20ppm (parts per million) gluten.

 
How do I store prepared gluten free products? Should I freeze or refrigerate them to keep them from drying out? 
Refrigerate no longer than 2 days. Suggested method is freezing leftovers.

 

Can I fry with it? 
Yes, both pan and oven frying work, but monitor cooking time as it browns quickly.

 

Can I make gravy with it?
Yes. We like it best when blended half and half with another plain gluten free flour (such as Hodgson Mill Gluten Free All Purpose Baking Flour, or a plain flour like Hodgson Mill Gluten Free Brown Rice or White Rice Flour.) So if your gravy requires 1 cup of flour, use ½ cup Gluten Free Seasoned Flour and ½ cup plain gluten free flour.

 

How do I use this product?
Product may be used as a coating mix with many different meats and vegetables.

 

Why does my food not get done?
When frying, use proper oil temperature and cook in small batches. Baked items may need to be turned once during the cooking process.

 

Why do you suggest soaking it in buttermilk before cooking? 
The buttermilk makes the flour stick and it gives the chicken a very moist texture.

 

What are the spices in this flour?
The blend is proprietary information.
