Why does the batter come off my food?
Be sure to have the surface of the food as dry as possible before coating the food. 
 

Why does my food not get done?
When frying, use proper oil temperature and cook in small batches. Baked items may need to be turned once during the cooking process.

 

What liquids work best with this product?
Water, club soda, or beer may be used as the batter liquid.

 

When did you remove the Monosodium Glutamate - MSG?
It was removed from the blend in July of 2013. 

 

Can I make gravy with it?
Yes. We like it best when blended half and half with plain flour (such as Hodgson Mill All Purpose Unbleached White Flour. So if your gravy requires 1 cup of flour, use ½ cup Kentucky Kernel Seasoned Flour and ½ cup plain flour.

 

Is the salt in this product iodized?
No, it is not iodized.
