How it’s made
We take our oat bran and blend it with premium, nutritious ingredients including, wheat bran, wheat, germ, quinoa flakes and milled flax seed. Packaged in sealed pouches to maintain freshness.


Storage Recommendation
Dry product may be stored at room temperature, in refrigerator, or in freezer at least until the code date on the package.

Flaky, coarse appearance; mixture of light, medium and dark tan in color. Fresh grain smell.

Item is not ready to eat, it must be thoroughly cooked.

Make creamy hot cereal
Use for baked goods – can replace 1/4 or so of flour in most recipes
Use in place of bread crumbs for meatloaf, meatballs, or coatings

Tips & FAQ’s

Important microwave cooking tip: 
When cooking as a hot cereal in the microwave, use a very large bowl and stir every 30 seconds to release the steam during the cooking process.  It will expand when cooking and will overflow in a serving size bowl.  You may want to cook at 50% power to help avoid overflow.

Can I use milk instead of water to make cereal?
Yes, it will make a creamier cereal.


Is it considered whole grain?
No, it is not, because one major ingredient is oat bran, which is not a whole grain (it focuses on the fibrous bran, and has more fiber and less starch than a whole oat grain.). This cereal does contain quinoa flakes and cracked whole wheat, which are whole grain.


Why did you remove the soy? 
Soy is one of the 8 major allergens. Many people are allergic to soy.  It required special cleanup on the production line. Also, the product could not be verified as Non-GMO with soy as an ingredient since most soy is genetically modified.


What are Quinoa flakes? 
Quinoa is an “ancient grain.” It is rolled into flat, quick-cooking flakes for this cereal.

Quinoa was first grown in the Andes Mountains. It is also grown in South America and Colorado Rocky Mountains. It is actually a seed and belongs to the same family as beets and spinach. It is 100% whole grain. It is a great food for vegetarians as it contains complete proteins along with fiber, potassium, Vitamin E, iron, magnesium and other vitamins and minerals. It can be found in several different colors, yellow, red, brown and black


What are the benefits of Flax?
Milled Flax Seed is one of the highest plant sources of Omegea-3’s. Omega-3’s help reduce inflammation, help control blood pressure, help control cholesterol by increasing the ratio of good fats to bad. It is known to improve eye health.  It is also known for its fiber, protein, calcium, and iron.
