A super easy and sweet way to use delicious fruit - make this quick jam sweetened with honey and thickened with wholesome Flax & Chia, perfect for spooning on top of hot cereal or spreading on toast!

Yield: 3 cups


  • 1/4 cup Hodgson Mill Flax Chia Blend
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 3 cups fresh or frozen blueberries, or any fruit of choice
  • 1/3 cup honey, or to taste
  • 1-2 Tbsp lemon juice, if desired


  • Stir together Flax-Chia and warm water and let rest until mixture thickens to a jelly-like texture, about 5 minutes.
  • Heat fruit (you may use raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, plums, peaches, or a combo) and honey in a saucepan over medium heat until fruit is soft, about 15 minutes.
  • Lightly crush fruit pieces down with a fork or masher until texture is spreadable.
  • Stir Flax Chia mixture into berry mixture.
  • Remove from heat and let cool for at least 10 minutes.
  • Enjoy!
  • Keep refrigerated, lasts about 2-3 weeks.
