  • Preheat Oven to 350° Grease a 9x13 baking dish.
     
  • In a medium bowl mix flour, wheat germ, soda, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg.
     
  • In a large bowl combine sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla.
     
  • Add flour mixture. Stir gently. Fold in apples and walnuts.
     
  • Bake at 350° for 40 minutes in a 13x9x2 pan.
     
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
